Fitur 'Manusiawi' dari Samsung Galaxy S III

SEOUL - Tagline Samsung mengatakan Galaxy S III merupakan ponsel cerdas yang "designed for human." Mungkin tagline tersebut terdengar aneh, tapi bisa diartikan fitur ponsel cerdas ini dirancang untuk memenuhi harapan orang-orang.

Dilansir Mashable, Senin (7/5/2012), sebelumnya telah terungkap Samsung Galaxy S III mengadopsi prosesor Exynos 4 Quad Core, empat sendor terpisah dan teknologi wireless seperti near-field communication (NFC). Tapi semua itu bisa dikatakan bukan fitur yang membuat ponsel cerdas ini lebih manusiawi. Mari kita lihat beberapa fitur yang lain.

1. S Voice
Ini mirip dengan fitur Siri pada perangkat besutan Apple. S Voice membuat pengguna bisa mengendalikan ponsel cerdasnya dengan suara. Siri pada iPhone seringkali dikritik karena tidak bekerja sesuai dengan iklannya, namun untuk S Voice sendiri belum jelas seberapa batasannya.

Samsung sudah memilih fokusnya pada tugas sederhana seperti membuka kunci, menghentikna bunyi alarm, memainkan lagu, mengirim pesan teks dan mengatur jadwal acara.

2. Smart Stay
Menurut Samsung, fitur ini memanfaatkan kamera di sisi depan ponsel cerdas untuk memonitor mata penggunanya. Melaluinya, ponsel cerdas bisa mengetahui kapan penggunanya sedang membaca, menonton video atau sekadar memandang layarnya.

3. Face Recognition with Auto Tagging
Bila kamera ponsel cerdas Anda bisa mengenali wajah, bagaimana kalau membiarkannya memberi nama dan otomatis melakukan tag foto? Fitur Galaxy S III dikatakan mampu melakukan ini.

Pengguna akan dengan mudah dan cepat membagi foto hanya dengan beberapa kali sentuhan di layar, dengan catatan wajah orang yang dipotret sudah tersimpan dalam nomor kontak.

4. S Beam
Untuk bisa berbagi file di Galaxy S III tidak perlu terhubung pada cloud. Pengguna bisa mentransfer file sampai sebesar 1GB hanya dengan menyentuhkan dua ponsel. Koneksinya dibuat melalui NFC dan file dikirimkan melalui WiFi Direct.

5. Direct Call
Ini hanya perubahan kecil tapi mungkin akan disambut banyak orang. Bila Anda sedang mengetik pesan untuk seseorang dan memutuskan meneleponnya, cukup posisikan ponsel cerdas ini ke telinga Anda. Ponsel cerdas akan otomatis menghubungi nomer yang sedang Anda kirimi pesan.

6. AllShare Cast
Hubungan antara ponsel cerdas dengan TV menjadi semakin kuat dengan fitur AllShare Cast. Hanya melalui beberapa sapuan di layar, ponsel cerdas dengan mudah menampilkan isi ponsel Anda di layar yang lebih besar. Tapi, seperti fitur S Beam, fitur ini membutuhkan TV Samsung atau dongle khusus agar bisa digunakan.
